  1. Inadequate iron intake causes anemia because iron is essential for development and growth. Eat food like meat, eggs, green leafy vegetables that are high in iron.
  2. Blood loss during menstruation or childbirth is a common cause of Anemia in women.
  3. Certain medications cause internal bleeding which can lead to Anemia, like regular use of aspirin can cause bleeding in the stomach.
