Used in the treatment of diarrhea

Description

This medicine is used to treat infectious and nonspecific diarrhea. It is also used for oral rehydration in acute diarrhea in combination with other medicines.

It is also used for preventing and treating digestive complications such as colitis (inflammation of the large intestine) and candidiasis (bacterial infection). Furthermore, it can be used to prevent and treat nasogastric-tube alimentation diarrhea (type of diarrhea).

Directions For Use

This medicine is mostly used orally. It is often mixed with lukewarm water and swallowed. The dosage is dependent on the age, condition and its severity. Please consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Warnings

The effects during pregnancy are undetermined; therefore, caution is advised. Please consult your doctor before use.  

Precautions

Please do not mix the medicine with very cold or hot water.

The patients experiencing any allergies to its contents should not use or discontinue use of this medicine.
