• Betamethasone is one of the two drugs this ointment contains which belongs to the drugs “glucocorticoids”.
• Glucocorticoids have the mechanism of action of inhibiting the chemicals that cause swelling and inflammation.
• Calcipotriol being the second active ingredient of the ointment has a role to play too as it treats psoriasis.
• Calcipotriol is a vitamin family medicine and its mechanism of action involves the overproduction of the skin cells that allows the ease of inflammation to the scaly areas.

Directions For Use

• Use a thin layer of calcibet 15g to the affected part of the body every 12 hours for plaque psoriasis for adults (18 and above).
