Description
Cetapred eye drop 5 ml
- Use cetapred 5ml drops to treat eye infections of bacterial type.
- Prednisolone acetate, sulfacetamide sodium and phenylephrine HCl are the active ingredients this medicine contains.
- Prednisolone acetate is a corticosteroid that is effective in suppressing the inflammation of eye infection.
- Sulfacetamide sodium is a sulfa type of antibiotic that kills the bacteria leading to relief from eye infection symptoms.
- The third component of cetapred 5ml phenylephrine HCl, is the decongestants group of medicines.
Directions For Use
- Instil 1 to 2 drops of cetapred 5ml to the affected eye for adults (18 and above). Use this dose of cetapred 5ml for ocular surgery and use them 30 to 60 minutes prior to operation.
- Instil 1 to 2 drops of cetapred 5ml in the affected eye for children and adolescents (1 year and above). Take this dose of cetapred 5ml for ocular surgery 30 to 60 minutes before the procedure.
- The recommended dose of cetapred 5ml for infants (11 months and younger) is 1 to 2 drops used 15 to 20 minutes before the surgery procedure.
