Description
Bimatoprost is used to treat high pressure inside the eye due to glaucoma (open-angle type) or other eye diseases (such as ocular hypertension). Lowering high pressure inside the eye can help prevent blindness.
Directions For Use
Apply this medication in the affected eye(s), usually once a day in the evening, or as directed by your doctor. Do not use bimatoprost more often because it will not work as well.
Warnings
During pregnancy, this medication should be used only when clearly needed. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
Precautions
Before using bimatoprost, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to similar drugs (such as latanoprost, travoprost); or if you have any other allergies.
