• Misar-AM 40mg/10mg tablet is composed of telmisartan (40mg) and amlodipine (10mg).
• Misar tablet is an antihypertensive medicine containing telmisartan.
• It is an oral antihypertensive medicine that belongs to the class of calcium channel blockers.
• It works by relaxing the blood vessels to allow easy flow of blood.
• Telmisartan is used alone or in combination with other medicines to manage high blood pressure and coronary artery disease.
• Antianginal effects of this medicine control chest pain (angina). 

Directions For Use

• Take this medicine by mouth.
• Take this medicine with or without food.
• Take one dose of this medicine, every day.

Warnings

• Only use during pregnancy if the benefits outweigh the risks. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.
• Not recommended for lactating females. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Precautions

• Before taking this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.
• This medication may make you more sensitive to the sun. Limit your time in the sun. Avoid tanning booths and sunlamps. Use sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors. Tell your doctor right away if you get sunburned or have skin blisters/redness.
• If you have diabetes, this product may affect your blood sugar. Check your blood sugarregularly as directed and share the results with your doctor. Your doctor may need to adjust your diabetes medication, exercise program, or diet.
