- The pneumostat chest drain valve is a disposable, single use chest drain valve with a small, graduated 30 ml collection capacity integrated with one-way dry seal valve technology.

Directions For Use
- To attach the pneuma stat. Cut off the beveled end of the patient catheter and insert the stepped connector and firmly into the catheter.
Warnings
- The pneumostat is intended for adult patients who require gravity drainage.
- Do not use in situations that require active negative pressure in the pleural space.
Precautions
- Chest tube care basics: Keep all tubing free of kinks and occlusions for instance check for tubing beneath the patient or pinched between bed rails.
- Take steps to prevent fluid-filled dependent loops which can impede drainage.
- To promote drainage keep the CDU below the level of the patient's chest.
