Description
Puregon inj 50 IU 1's
- Puregon inj 50IU/0.5ml solution is composed of follitropin beta.
- Follitropin beta is used to treat certain fertility problems in women and men.
- It contains follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH).
- In women it helps stimulate healthy ovaries to produce eggs whereas in men it helps stimulate healthy testes to produce sperm.
Directions For Use
- Puregon is given as a subcutaneous injection (under your skin) in the lower abdominal area.
- Clean the injection area with an alcohol swab.
- Keep holding the pinch as you slowly inject by pushing the dosage knob in.
- Keep pushing on the knob until the dosage indicator has gone back to the zero mark (“0”).
Warnings
- Pregnant females are advised to consult their doctors before taking this medicine.
- Lactating females are advised to consult their doctors before taking this medicine.
Precautions
- It is recommended to exclude anatomical abnormalities.
- Please monitor ovarian size and estrogen response to avoid hyperstimulation (increased stimulus to the ovaries to produce eggs) while using this medication.
