Highlights

• It is used in the treatment of schizophrenia and mania.
• Can also be used for short-term treatment of long-term aggressiveness in Alzheimer’s dementia (a memory disorder) and in intellectually disabled children (at least 5 years of age).

Description

Repdon tab 1mg 10's

• Consist of risperidone which belongs to a group of medicines called anti-psychotics.
• Shows antipsychotic activity by blocking certain receptors (D2 and 5-HT2) in the brain, thus decreasing symptoms of schizophrenia and mood disorders.

Directions For Use

• This medicine can be taken with or without meals.
• Do not crush or chew the medicine.

Warnings

• Not recommended in pregnant women and should be used with caution in breastfeeding women.
• Do not drive or use any tools and machines if you feel dizziness, tiredness, and vision problems after taking.

Precautions

• Not recommended for use in elderly patients having dementia and should be used with caution in other elder patients therefore consult your doctor before taking.
• Not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years age for schizophrenia or bipolar mania.
• Should be taken with caution if you have heart problems including an irregular heart rhythm, or if you are prone to low blood pressure. Consult your doctor before taking.
