Solu- medrol inj 1000mg 1's

• Solu Medrol 1gm injection is composed of methylprednisolone (1gm)
• Methylprednisolone is used for the treatment of conditions such as arthritis, blood disorders, severe allergic reactions, certain cancers, eye conditions, skin/kidney/intestinal/lung diseases and immune system disorders.
• It decreases the immune system's response to various diseases to reduce symptoms such as swelling, pain and allergic-type reactions.

Directions For Use

• This medication is usually given by slow injection into a vein or directly into a muscle as directed by your doctor. The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. 

Warnings

• No definite data regarding pregnancy is available. Consult your doctor before using this medicine
• The effects of this medicine is undetermined in lactating females, therefore be cautious. Consult your doctor before using this medicine. 

Precautions

• Active infections not controlled by antibiotics. History of TB. Ssepticaemia (bloodstream infection).
• Maintain extreme cautions in chicken pox, measles, renal (kidney) impairment, hepatic (liver) failure, cirrhosis, active peptic ulcer, myasthenia gravis (autoimmune disease), epilepsy (seizures), hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid gland), osteoporosis (bone disease),hypertension (increased blood pressure), recent MI, thromboembolic disorders and glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye).
