Description
This medicine is used for the treatment of patients suffering from intraocular hypertension to reduce the fluid pressure inside the eyes.
This medicine is used to reduce the fluid pressure inside the eyes of patients suffering from open-angle glaucoma, a condition characterized by progressive damage to the optic nerve that may lead to vision loss.
Directions For Use
To introduce the medicine into the eyes, first tilt your head back & look upward, then instill drops into the eyes. Then close eyes & roll eyeballs in all directions. Don’t blink eyes for 30 seconds and apply gentle pressure to the inner corners of the eye
Warnings
The medicine is contraindicated in pregnant females.
Precautions
Its use is specially cautioned in inflammatory neovascular (sight-threatening complication), angle closure or congenital glaucoma, pigmentary glaucoma, open angle glaucoma in pseudophakia (false lens) patients, severe asthma, risk factors for iritis (inflammation of iris), uveitis (inflammation of uvea) or cystoid macular oedema (painless disorder affecting central retina), period of cataract surgery & having history of herpetic keratitis (viral infection of eye).
