Zaxine XR 150mg tab 10'S

• Zaxine XR 150mg tablet is composed of venlafaxine.

Directions For Use

• Take this medication with meals at the same time daily

Warnings

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding or are planning a pregnancy consult your doctor before receiving this medication.

Precautions

• Use this medication cautiously in patients with moderate to severe kidney or liver impairment, liver cirrhosis, heart disease, history of epilepsy, drug abuse and mania.
• It should also be carefully used in bleeding tendencies.
• Monitor Bp and serum cholesterol while using this medication.
• Re-evaluate patients on long term therapy of this drug.
• Advise patients to report the development of the rash with the use of this drug.
• Withdraw gradually over at least 1 week or 2 weeks if high doses for > 6 weeks.
• Monitor patients with the risks for suicidal behavior.
• Dose increases may be detrimental in patients who develop akathisia (a movement disorder characterized by a feeling of inner restlessness and inability to stay still) with the use of this medicine. Use this drug cautiously in patients with risk factors for QT prolongation or serious arrhythmia. Hypovolemia, raised IOP, the risk of narrow-angle glaucoma, micturition disorders (problems in passing urine) and in elderly.
