Introduction

A type of anti-inflammatory drug called advantan® is intended for topical use. Advantan soothes symptoms resulting from the skin condition by suppressing inflammatory and allergic skin reactions.

Skin thickness, roughness, fluid accumulation, itching, and other complaints (pain or burning sensation) are all examples of erythema.

Uses of advantan cream

Advantan® is used to treat eczema in children, contact eczema, degenerative, dyshidrotic, or vulgar eczema, as well as atopic dermatitis (endogenous eczema, neurodermatitis).

The two formulations of advantan®, each of which has a different therapeutic impact, are given below.

Advantan cream

The cream advantan® contains a lot of water and little fat. Advantan® the cream is especially great for use on exposed or hairy portions of the body, overly greasy skin, and the so-called weeping stages of eczema.

Advantan ointment

When treating certain skin conditions when the skin is neither extremely dry nor weeping (producing fluid), a foundation with appropriate ratios of fat and water is necessary. The advantan® ointment slightly makes the skin oily without holding heat or fluid. The application range for advantan® ointment is the greatest of the two formulations.
