Dosing information

Adult dose

The typical adult oral dosage for the treatment of most infections is one tablet of calamox (amoxicillin/clavulanic acid 875 mg/125 mg) every 12 hours or one tablet of calamox (amoxicillin/clavulanic acid 500 mg/125 mg) every 8 hours.

 

Children dose

For children, the dosage will be based on the child's weight and is usually given in two divided doses every 12 hours or three divided doses every 8 hours.

Storage
