Description

Arzol tab 40mg 10'S

• Arzol 10mg tablet contains aripiprazole which belongs to the group of medicines called anti-psychotic drugs.
• It works by regulating the release and uptake of certain chemical messengers (dopamine and serotonin) in the brain that affects thoughts, emotions, body movements, and behaviour. As a result, it improves your ability to think, controls your emotions and body movements and stabilizes your mental health.
• It is used to treat schizophrenia especially in the adolescent patients (aged between 13-17 years).
• Arzol 10mg tablet can also be used either as a monotherapy or as an adjuvant to treat mania (sudden extreme sense of happiness or hyperactivity) in children (aged 10 years or older).
• It can also treat tourette’s disorder (tic disorder) or irritability associated with autistic disorder in children (aged between 6-18 years).
• Arzol 10mg tablet can be given as an adjunctive therapy to treat depression (major depressive disorder) in the adult patients.

Directions For Use

• Take arzol tablet as advised by your physician. It can be taken with or without meals.
• For tablets: Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine.

Warnings

• Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking arzol 10mg tablet as it could make you feel more dizzy or drowsy.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding or are planning a pregnancy consult your doctor before receiving this medication.

Precautions

• Before taking arzol 10mg tablet inform your doctor you have diabetes, heart problems, fits or blood clots in the body. It is strictly not recommended for use in elderly patients having dementia-related psychosis (a disorder that affects memory, thinking and social abilities).
• While taking arzol 10mg tablet do not exercise excessively and avoid exposing yourself to hot climate. Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.
