Clenil is a medicine used for the maintenance treatment of asthma in adults and children. It is also used to treat recurrent wheezing (whistling sound made while breathing, caused by narrowed airways or inflammation) in children up to 5 years of age.

Description

Clenil Modulite pressurised inhalation solution is used to help prevent the symptoms of mild, moderate or severe asthma. The active ingredient, beclometasone dipropionate, is one of a group of medicines called corticosteroids which are often referred to simply as steroids.

Directions For Use

Place the mouthpiece in your mouth between your teeth and close your lips around it but do not bite it. 5. Hold your breath; take the inhaler from your mouth and your finger from the top of the inhaler. Continue holding your breath for a few seconds or as long as is comfortable

Please avoid driving when taking this medicine as it may affect your ability to drive.

Please consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant

Precautions

This medicine is not recommended to be used in patients with systemic fungal infection unless an antiinfective therapy is initiated.
