• With amoxicillin and clarithromycin it is used for treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection and duodenal ulcer.

Description

Esgred caps 40mg

• Esomeprazole (Esgred-DSR (40mg) is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) prescribed for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
• It blocks the production of stomach acid.

Directions For Use

• It comes as a capsule to take by mouth once a day one hour before meal.

Warnings

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding or are planning a pregnancy consult your doctor before receiving this medication.

Precautions

• It may cause malignancy and liver impairment.
• While taking this medication there is an increased risk of developing certain infections such as community-acquired pneumonia.
