Directions For Use

Paclitaxel is given as an injection or infusion into the vein (intravenous, IV).


Warnings

This medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It may harm an unborn baby. It is important that men and women using this medication use reliable forms of birth control (such as condoms, birth control pills) while using this medication. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, tell your doctor right away.


Precautions

Before starting Paclitaxel treatment, make sure you tell your doctor about any other medications you are taking (including prescription, over-the-counter, vitamins, herbal remedies, etc.). Do not take aspirin, or products containing aspirin unless your doctor specifically permits this.
