Description

Stomacol susp 120 ml

• Consist of domperidone.
• Works by blocking chemicals in the brain and the intestine. This causes improved movements and faster gastric emptying which helps in prevention of vomiting.

Directions For Use

• 10 ml (of oral suspension containing domperidone 1mg per ml) up to three times per day with a maximum daily dose of 30 ml per day.
• Oral domperidone should be taken before meals/feeding. If taken after meals absorption of the drug is somewhat delayed.

Warnings

• This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks involved.
• This medicine is not recommended for use by breastfeeding mothers as there is a risk of side effects on the infant. 

Precautions

• Stomacol suspension 120ml is not recommended for use in people having a known history of allergy to it.
• Stomacol suspension 120ml is not recommended for use in people having tumor of the pituitary gland.
• Stomacol suspension 120ml is not recommended for use in people having an active heart disease like congestive heart failure.
