tofajak 5mg 10tab 1's

Highlights

TOFAJAK 5MG contains Tofacitinib which belongs to a group of medicines called Janus Kinase inhibitors. It is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ulcerative colitis and polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis is a long-term disease that mainly causes pain and swelling of joints.

Description

Tofacitinib is Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors, which are intracellular enzymes which transmit signals arising from cytokine or growth factor-receptor interactions on the cellular membrane to influence cellular processes of hematopoiesis and immune cell function. It works by inhibiting the JAK-STAT pathway to decrease the inflammatory response.

Tofacitinib works by decreasing cytokines, which is a protein in the body that helps to control the immune system. When a body has an infection, cytokines increase to help fight the infection.
