Directions For Use
- Take precisely as directed by your doctor.
- Swallow the tablet with water.
- Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.
- Topiramate can be taken either with food or without food.
- Do not exceed or decrease the recommended dose.
- Do not discontinue using topiramate without first consulting your doctor.
Warnings
- Topiramate should only be used during pregnancy if absolutely necessary. It has the potential to harm an unborn child.Pregnant females should consult their doctors for further information.
- Topiramate enters breast milk and can have adverse effects on a nursing baby. It is not recommended during lactation.Lactating females should consult their doctors for further information.
- Topiramate can make you dizzy, drowsy, or have blurred vision. If you have such symptoms, avoid doing activities that demand mental awareness, such as driving a car.
