Highlights

• Velosef 125mg/5ml suspension is used to treat bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections, chest infections, skin infections, ear infections, throat infections, sinusitis and upper respiratory tract infections.

Directions For Use

• You may take cephradine with or without food. Taking the medicine with food or milk may ease side effects on your stomach.
• Please use a measuring device to accurately measure the dose when using the suspension form.
• Fill previously boiled and cooled water upto 35ml in measuring cup.Pour water from measuring cup into bottle and shake well. After reconstitution, the suspension should be stored in a refrigerator (2°C-8°C) and can be used within 14 days.If stored at 15°C-30°C after reconstitution the suspension can be used within 7 days.
• Shake well before use.

Warnings

• Please consult your doctor when taking this medicine if you are pregnant.
• This medication passes into breast milk.Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Precautions

• If you have ever had an allergic reaction to a medicine.It is particularly important that you tell your doctor if you have had a bad reaction to a penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotic.
• Continue to take this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days.Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow, which may result in a return of the infection.
• Before using this medication tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history especially of kidney disease, stomach/intestinal disease (such as colitis).
