Description

Choriomon inj 5000 1's

• Choriomon Injection contains chorionic gonadotrophin,Human (HCG).
• Belongs to gonadotrophin.
• Interacts with the LHCG receptor of the ovary and promotes the maintenance of the corpus luteum during the beginning of pregnancy.
• This allows the corpus luteum to secrete the hormone progesterone during the first trimester.

Directions For Use

• It is given as a shot in the muscle (intramuscular injection). In women, the usual dosing is 5,000 to 10,000 Units one day following the previous treatment with menotropins. Take exactly as indicated by your doctor. In men the injections are typically given 3 times per week lasting for a few weeks.

Warnings

• Before starting this medicine inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding. 

Precautions

• You should not use this medication if you have ever had an allergic reaction to HCG or if you have:
• early puberty (also called precocious puberty);
• a hormone-related cancer (such as prostate cancer);
• cancer or a tumor of the breast, ovary, or uterus;
• certain types of ovarian cysts;
• uncontrolled thyroid or adrenal dysfunction;
• a cancer or tumor of the hypothalamus or pituitary gland in the brain;
• vaginal bleeding without a known cause
