Description

Lorazepam is a medicine which is used for treating anxiety. It falls in the benzodiazepine class of medicines, which work on the nerves (central nervous system) and brain to provide a calming effect. Lorazepam works by boosting the actions of a natural substance in the body called GABA.

Directions For Use

Lorazepam should be taken either with food or without food as advised by your doctor, take it every day at the same time.

Warnings

Lorazepam should not be used while pregnant. It has the potential to harm an unborn child. If you observe symptoms in the newborn baby, such as slower breathing, feeding difficulties, or frequent crying, consult your doctor immediately. For further information, pregnant females are advised to consult their doctors.
