Thyroxine tablet 50mcg

• Thyroxine tablet is composed of levothyroxine.
• Thyronorm 50mcg tablet is a medicine used to treat an underactive thyroid gland (hypothyroidism).
• It replaces the hormone which is not being produced by your thyroid gland in sufficient quantity and helps regulate your body's energy and metabolism

Directions For Use

• Take atleast 30 minutes before meals.Best to take it before breakfast because it causes imsomnia.
• No food, milk or tea should be taken 1 hour before and 2 hours after taking this medicine. It may take 6 to 8 weeks to get the full effect.For most people thyronorm 50mcg tablet can be a lifelong medication

Precautions

• Caution is advised in people with cardiovascular disorders, diabetes, long history of hypothyroidism, adrenal insufficiency (a condition where the adrenal gland is unable to producesufficient steroid hormone) and in aged people.
