Directions For Use

• Take this medicine by mouth with a glass of water.
• Take this medicine with or without food preferably with food.
• Swallow it as a whole, do not crush or chew the medicine.
• Take it at the same time to help you remember.
• Or use it exactly as instructed by your doctor.

• This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy.Consult your doctor for more information.
• This medicine is not recommended for nursing females.Consult your doctor for more information.
• This medicine doesn’t usually affect your driving ability. If you are experiencing trouble, please avoid driving and consult your doctor.
• This medicine should be used cautiously in liver patients. Consult your doctor for proper dose adjustment.
• This medicine should be used cautiously in kidney patients. Consult your doctor for proper dose adjustment.
• Avoid excess alcohol consumption when using this medicine it might increase the risk of lactic acidosis.

Precautions

• Assess risk factors for lactic acidosis (buildup of lactate causing acidic pH of blood stream). Discontinue immediately if metabolic acidosis (overproduction of acid in the body) is suspected.
• Monitor renal (kidney) function at least annually.Discontinue the medicine for 48 hours before and after the elective surgery.
