Highlights

• Velosef 500mg is used to treat bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections, chest infections, skin infetions,ear infections, throat infections, sinusitis and upper respiratory tract infections.

Directions For Use

• You may take cephradine with or without food.
• Cephradine may be given intravenouly or by deep intramuscular injection.
• Cephadrine may be administered by either direct intravenous infusion,For direct the solution may be slowly injected directly into a vein over a 3 to 5 minute period or may be given as a supplementary injection through the injection site on an administration set when the susion solution is compatible with cephradine.
• Dose is calculated on the severity of the disease.

Warnings

• Please consult your doctor when taking this medicine if you are pregnant.
• This medication passes into breast milk.Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Precautions

• If you have ever had an allergic reaction to a medicine.It is particularly important that you tell your doctor if you have had a bad reaction to a penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotic.
• Continue to take this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days.Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow, which may result in a return of the infection.
• Before using this medication tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history especially of kidney disease, stomach/intestinal disease (such as colitis).
