Highlights

• This medication is used to treat pain caused by nerve damage due to diabetes or shingles (herpes zoster) infection.
• Pregabalin is used to treat pain caused by fibromyalgia,or nerve pain in people with diabetes (diabetic neuropathy).

Directions For Use

• Take this medication by mouth as directed by your doctor, usually once daily after an evening meal.
• Swallow the capsule whole.
• Do not split,crush or chew.Doing so can release all of the drug at once, increasing the risk of side effects.

Warnings

• This drug passes into breast milk.Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
• Please consult your doctor when taking this medicine if you are pregnant.

Precautions

• Before taking pregabalin tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients which can cause allergic reactions or other problems.Talk to your pharmacist for more details.
• Weight gain may occur long-term cardiovascular effects of pregabalin associated weight gain are unknown.
