What is the KUB Ultrasound?
In medical field, the KUB means that it is a diagnosing ultrasound for the abdomen, mainly, Kidneys, Ureters, and Bladder. This KUB ultra sound is suggested by the doctors when they think that it is mandatory for your urinary track (including kidneys, ureters, and bladder) to be examined. Ureters only appear in the ultrasound when they are abnormally distended. In male patients, there is an exception because their prostrate glans is also scanned and checked for abnormalities.
When is this Ultrasound performed?

If you pain some stinging pain in left or right side of your waist. It can indicate that there is something wrong with your kidney.

- If you are already suffering from a kidney or urinary

- Both the kidneys and bladders are scanned when they have

and bladder is.
- In male patients, there is an exception, the size of their
prostrate gland is also measured.
When the ultrasound is being done; the size, shape, and
overall health of the following:
- The urinary bladder will be first examined when its full and
then it will also be examined when its empty. So, that in both conditions, you
get an overview.
- The right kidney will be examined with its ureter.
- The left kidney will be examined with its ureter.
- The prostrate gland found in males will also be checked.

that everything is normal when he is performing the ultrasound. But a report
will be a more detailed result.
