What is Occult Blood Stool Test?
The FOBT also known as the fecal occult blood test is normal routine lab test that is used to check if blood is present in stool samples or not. This is the test that is used for the indication or diagnosis of colon cancer or polyps in the colon or rectum. But you should know that all of the cancers or polyps do not bleed.
