What is the Transvaginal Ultrasound?
In this ultrasound test, a high frequency sound waves are used to create different images of your different parts of body organs. These images will help to identify different conditions, abnormalities, and diseases. This is an internal examination because the transvaginal word means “through vagina”. The transvaginal ultrasound is also known as an endo-vaginal ultrasound. The main purpose of this ultrasound is to examine the female reproductive organs.
