What is the HPV DNA Test?
This is a lab test in which sample is taken from the patient’s cervix. Cells will be scraped from cervix and in those cells, it will be checked if the DNA of human papillomaviruses HPV is present or not. Human Papillomaviruses is something that can cause abnormal tissue growth. For instance, warts and it also caused other changes to cells as well. If this infection stays for longer time, then it will cause some types of cervical cancer.
